Fantastic hospital!
Good working environment
All I can say is superb!
We were blown away with the brilliant care. Everyone was so kind and caring, as well as being efficient. We couldn't fault it.
Dr. Elliott and Dr. Muthialu changed our lives and the life of our +2 months old son.
They did this in the utmost professional way.
Nothing but words of praise and gratitude for what they and the Great Ormond Team did and the way they did it !
If there is one thing in which we see room for improvement then it is in the communication prior to admittance. It took some time before our son could be brought to GOSH from Belgium for surgery and communication between our hospital in Ghent and Great Ormond in that pre-admittance period was poor at times. But once we got the green light and our son was admitted, the care he recieved at GOSH was excellent !
Thank you, once again. We will never forget this !

Our son Rico was cared for by the team at GOSH for a few days and everyone was so caring and friendly.
All of the team made us feel so welcome and looked after Rico very well.
In a weird way we were almost sad to be going home.
Thanks for everything GOSH
We have been going to GOSH for 13 years now, it is clear to see why it is the leading children's hospital in the world. The Drs and nursing staff are fantastic, but the whole team from senior management, receptionists, care assistants through to the cleaners deserve a mention. The child is at the heart of every decision made, clear discussion and explanation of what they are doing is always had with both the child and patient and is excellent. The new facilities are building a hospital for the future with the care of the child and their family at the core. The hospital is a place where many very ill children are treated but is is a place of happiness not despair, from the moment a child arrives Peter Pan and Tinkerbell guide their journey through the brightly decorated corridors and Lagoon restaurant onto the well equipped and spotless wards. With clear ethical values it is testament to its care that children return without fear but with willing steps to return to see their friends the Drs and nurses of the greatest children's hospital in the world - where lives are saved every day but where humility is never forgotten.
Everything was fabulous - the nurses and care workers were amazing and I felt they cared for my son as well as I would. They couldn't be more compassionate and helpful.
The surgeons, Drs and anaesthetists were very friendly, caring and confident, which was very reassuring.
Surgery process was very efficient and timely.
Facilities were great and exceptionally clean, especially when we got an en-suite room. Parents kitchen, breast feeding room and toilets all well kept and great facilities.
The only negative experience was I was asked to leave my 6 weeks old breast-fed baby for the night and have the nurses feed him with a bottle. This made me feel very uncomfortable but after a chat with the sister, they allowed me to stay.
Outstanding hospital
